Silverback

Buddy of mine who I've been talking to off-and-on for a few years now. He's got such nice colors... too bad I couldn't include the silver-ticked fur on his shoulders/back.

This image was done using a picture of him he sent me. I used it as the top layer in lieu of a pencil sketch and reduced opacity on it so I could see what I was doing underneath. The face was done in a similar fashion with a wolf face I found on google images. I realise this is cheating, but it looks good and it doesn't bother me, so whatever.
