Ms Swainston, my hat really goes off to you. The way you write really brings your stories to life. 'Year' was just about the first fantasy-themed book I can honestly say I enjoyed. Thanks for not stopping at just one, and thanks for not cheaping out on the others.
For those who have no bloody clue what I'm talking about, this is Jant Shira; winged Messenger to the Emperor and (almost-reformed) drug addict.. Best book series ever. Check it out: The Year of Our War; No Present Like Time; and Dangerous Offspring.
I spent a while on it and showed it to Koztah (hoping to get a pat on the head) and all he had to say was, "where are his dreadlocks?" Oh, buggery... perhaps I'll fix it later when I color him.
**Yeah, I know you can't see much. I dunno about you, but DA seems to be shrinking this. Which is odd, because they never seem to shrink anyone else's fridge door scribbles. It's a conspiracy, I swear.
